We worked on multimessenger astrophysics with neutrinos and gamma-rays at energies above TeV (...)
We showed that in spite of the absence of correlation of the neutrino arrival directions with the positions of the nearby gamma-ray emitting blazars, cumulative blazar flux from FSRQ and bright BL Lac blazars could explain most of the astrophysical neutrino flux measured in the muon neutrino channel. This can happen if the gamma-ray flux from [space] neutrino-emitting sources is higher then the neutrino flux due to the dominating? leptonic channel.
