Before going further, you should have a valid and active useraccount associated with a project account on Liger System, if it's not the case your or your Project Investigator (PI)/Project Leader should apply online or contact ICI.
A secure shell client (SSH, various versions available for free)

- Windows Users; Windows does not have SSH capabilities built-in. Download one of these tools
Access by SSH
Connection to Turing node, you must first connect to the front end on Liger System via ssh called
$ ssh firstname.lastname@example.org
Then, enter your password if you have not configured the ssh key.
The LIGER front end is the only machine which is visible and directly accessible by the users and offers the following functionalities: interactive connection, compilation for the other nodes of the cluster, preparation, submission and monitoring of your jobs with the batch manager,
Slurm. Parallel jobs must be executed from the front-end via the Slurm batch manager.
Change your password
- connect to your login account on the Liger Web Portal from your granted machine
- in your personal dashboard, select in the menu and change your password. Submit and connect by SSH.
