Welcome to the HeliumTools package wiki. Here we (try to) gather some informations about the models and packages that are developped by the team.
If the module is working, there should be a Jupyter Notebook file in the example folder so that you can reproduce and understand the functions of the code.

## ODTCalc :house: :flashlight: :sunglasses:

The odtcalc package, developped by A.D. able the simulation of atom trap using magnetic field (entering you coils dimensions) and light (using you laser properties). One can therefore compute potentials and trapping frequencies. The [odtcalc_exemple](https://gitlab.in2p3.fr/gaz-quantiques-lcf/helium-1/heliumtools/-/blob/master/heliumtools/exemples/odtcalc_examples.ipynb) files provides a step by step introduction, the [odtcalc notebook](https://gitlab.in2p3.fr/gaz-quantiques-lcf/helium-1/heliumtools/-/blob/master/heliumtools/exemples/odt-calc.ipynb) contains the Helium1 trap configuration and the [odt-calc-coil-manip-helium notebook](https://gitlab.in2p3.fr/gaz-quantiques-lcf/helium-1/heliumtools/-/blob/master/heliumtools/exemples/odt-calc-coils-manip-helium.ipynb) contains some calculations using the geometry of our Cloverleaf type trap.

The [MCPmap](https://gitlab.in2p3.fr/gaz-quantiques-lcf/helium-1/heliumtools/-/blob/master/heliumtools/exemples/mcp_maps.ipynb) program is dedicated to the visualisation of MCP gain, offset and resolution maps.
