The RoutingPreProc comes with a number of functional tests which are in the directory "./tests". Each of these configurations allows to test a functionality and provides examples on which users can build.

For each test a script is provided to launch the construction on climserv and spirit, two machines of the IPSL MesoCentre.
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
The files describing the grids for which tests are executed are available on the MesoCentre in the directory : "/bdd/ORCHIDEE_Forcing/Routing/TestGrids/". This corresponds to the variable "ModelGridFile" in the configuration files for RoutingPreProc.

Mallorca

**Objective** : The aim of this test is to evaluate RoutingPreProc on a small area (island of Mallorca) for different atmospheric grids, HDEM and number of processors.

It is more a functional test and not suitable for evaluation of the result.

Iberia
|

**Objective** : Test the HydroSHEDS HDEM for two atmospheric grids (0.5 degrees regular and a Lambert Conformal projection) over a slightly larger domain. It allows to evaluate over th same regions how the graph of HTU changes with the selected projection and atmospheric resolution.

**Objective** : Evaluate the HTU construction on a classical configuration for France using the MERIT HDEM. ROutingPreProc is executed with two different number of CPUs to test the quality of the parallelisation. This case also includes a execution of StationDiag.py to produce the file describing all the stations which could be positioned on the graph of HTUs.

**Objective** : Evaluation of the HTU graph and the positioning of lakes, dams and floodplains on a 20km Lambert Conformal projection and the HydroSHEDS HDEM.
